North Region formalizes Council for the WCF
During the Amazon Cultural Seminar, carried out between March 10 and March 14, in Belém do Pará (Brazil), the Institutional Council of the North Region was formalized to integrate the Institutional Council of the World Cultural Forum São Paulo. The Council of the North Region which involves institutions from the States of Pará, Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Rondônia and Roraima, is intended to bring forward the many topics of discussion approached during the seminar to feed the assemblies of the WCF [World Cultural Forum].

Amazon Cultural Seminar called up many NGOs, Public Agencies, Universities, Foundations and Institutions. Many themes related to art and regional culture were discussed during the event, such as "Globalization and the Amazonian Culture", "Native Art", "Amazonian Culture: Where does it come from, How it is now and Where is it going to?", and also other topics that will lead the Global Convention of the World Cultural Forum. At the occasion, the organizers of the event have formalized the creation of the Institutional Council of the North Region to integrate the Institutional Council of the WCF.
