A proposta é também fazer com que eles aprendam como relacionar a arte com as outras áreas do conhecimento, como literatura, ciências e geografia. “Vamos ver de que forma o teatro está sendo e poderá ser trabalhado nas escolas”, diz Rô Reyes. “Vamos trabalhar com a sensibilização para que eles percebam a expressividade e o talento das crianças”, afirma Ruy Cezar. Ele também elogia o entusiasmo dos professores. “É uma forma de mobilizar o profissional a trocar experiências e discutir mais o que é a arte”, avalia a professora Laudeci Cavalcante de Oliveira.

O projeto reforça as diretrizes curriculares estabelecidas este ano pela SMEC - Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Cultura, através do documento Escola, Arte e Alegria, que tem como objetivo tornar a escola um local de desenvolvimento das diversas atividades socioartísticas e culturais. Dentro desta linha, a secretaria lançou, ainda, o projeto “Escola cadê sua História?” com o intuito de fazer com que as escolas abram as portas para a comunidade e resgatem a memória do local onde estão inseridas. “Neste aspecto, a Educação em Salvador está bem organizada “, elogia Rosa Iavelberg. “Se o professor conseguir mudar a sua postura como agente de formação, ele vai conseguir despertar um maior interesse da classe e melhorar o desempenho dos alunos em sala de aula”, afirma.

The proposal of Parameters with Art is also to learn how to relate art to other disciplines such as literature, science and geography. “Let’s look at in what ways theater is being used and can be worked with in schools”, says Rô Reyes. “Let’s work with sensitivity so that the teachers can perceive the expressiveness and talent of the children” affirms Ruy Cezar. He also compliments the enthusiasm of the teachers. “It is a way to motivate the professionals to exchange experiences and further discuss what art is”, assesses teacher Laudeci Cavalcante de Oliveira.

Parameters with Art reinforces the curriculum guidelines established this year by SMEC- Municipal Secretary of Education and Culture in the document School, Art and Joy which proposes turning schools into places for the development of various socio-artistic and cultural activities as its main goal. Within this line of action, the Secretary of Education and Culture has also launched the project, “School, Where Is Your History?” that’s intention is to have schools open their doors to communities and the preservation of local memory. “In this aspect, education in Salvador is well organized” states Rosa Iavelberg. “If the teachers can see their role as an agent for transformation, they will be able to awaken greater interest in the class, thereby improving the students’ overall performance in the classroom.”
