ALOÍSIO MENEZES

Ator, cantor e compositor, esse jovem começou sua carreira sagrando-se campeão do Festival Secundarista de Arte Integrada do Estado da Bahia em 1979. Mas ele só veio cair de vez nas veias da música depois de sete anos, participando de diversos festivais na década de 80. Dono de um timbre de voz grave e rouco, Aloísio prepara-se para gravar seu primeiro CD, depois de vencer o Troféu Caymmi anos 1999/2000, na categoria Revelação e Intérprete com o seu show “Diamante Verdadeiro”, título inspirado em um samba-choro de Caetano Veloso.

ALOÍSIO MENEZES

Actor, singer and composer, this young man began his career as champion of the Secondary Festival of Integrated Art in the state of Bahia in1979. But he only immersed himself in music again after seven years by participating in numerous festivals during the 80s. Possessing a gravely deep voice, Aloísio is producing his first CD, after winning the Troféu Caymmi for 1999/2000, in the category of Revelation and Excellent Interpreter with his show “Diamante Verdadeiro”, title inspired by the samba-choro of Caetano Veloso.
