INAICYRA

É cantora lírica, professora doutora, pesquisadora das tradições afro-brasileiras, na Educação e nas Artes performáticas no Departamento de Artes Corporais da Unicamp. Descendente da família Asipá, uma das linhagens fundadoras de Ketu, Inaicyra absorveu os valores da tradição, legado mantido por sua avó, Mãe Senhora, importante e afamada Iyalorixá Nilé Axé Opó Afonjá, e por seu pai - Mestre Didi, sacerdote-artista e escritor. Nesta série de cânticos, ela recria esteticamente os poemas e músicas sagradas, ao lado de Beto Pellegrino, arranjador e estudioso das músicas desta tradição, que vem participando decisivamente para o ineditismo e o êxito deste trabalho, juntamente com Reginaldo Flores e Nestor Madrid. Os cânticos possuem letras em Yorubá - a língua da tradição religiosa - preservada pela comunidade afro-brasileira, legado cultural do povo nagô.

INAICYRA

Lyrical singer, doctorate professor, researcher of africana-brazilian traditions at the Education and Performance Arts Department at Unicamp. Descendent of the Asipá family, one of the founding lineages of Ketu, Inaicyra absorbed the values of the tradition, a legacy maintained by her grandmother, Mãe Senhora, important and highly famed Iyalorixá Nilé Axé Opó Afonjá, and by her father, Mestre Didi, sacerdote-artist and writer. In this series of songs, she aesthetically recreates the sacred poems and music, beside Beto Pellegrino, arranger and student of this musical traditions, who participated decisively towards the great success of this work along with Reginaldo Flores and Nestor Madrid. The songs possess letters in Yorubá, the traditional religious language preserved by the Afro-Brazilian community, a cultural legacy of the Nagô peoples.
