Conversa informal entre a artista convidada, agentes culturais e o público sobre as dificuldades e realizações na sua trajetória artística em seu país e internacionalmente.

Daúde

A cantora abordará sua vivência musical. Com seu jeito franco e direto ela conversará sobre os diversos aspectos envolvidos na construção de uma carreira: a decisão, o início, as influências, a construção da imagem, o primeiro CD, as parcerias, o estúdio, o mercado fonográfico, a escolha do repertório, a relação com a mídia, a estrada e o objetivo do artista de levar sua música para um maior número de pessoas. Daúde também vai expor aspectos de seu show, que os participantes poderão conferir no dia seguinte.

Origem e história da Música do SENGE - Grupo Senge:

O grupo falará sobre a ilha de Madagascar, a origem e história da sua música, o estilo musical específico do grupo (BEKO) e outros estilos musicais da ilha. Farão demonstração dos instrumentos tradicionais usados pelos músicos, KABOSY (tradicionalmente 4 ou 5 guitarras enfileiradas), MAROVANY (um tipo de harpa construído com uma pequena caixa de madeira, com metais enfileirados de cada lado). Tudo isso ilustrado com muita música.

A trajetória da Música Quéchua da região de Potosi - Luzmila Carpio:

Tema: A importância da música e do canto da mulher no mundo das comunidades Quéchuas da região de Potosi.

A arte musical das comunidades quechuas é codificado conforme as grandes cerimônias do ano agrícola. É um meio de comunicação entre as comunidades e a natureza, sendo assim um meio de relação mais próxima com a terra, os animais e a família. Daí a utilização, no workshop, de diferentes instrumentos musicais que estão ligados às atividades agrícolas, tanto nos rituais e festejos celebrando as primeiras colheitas, como em forma de agradecimento à divindade fértil PACHAMAMA, a Mãe Terra.
Através da voz de Luzmila e seus músicos, das lendas e das tradições da região de Potosi, compartilhadas em cantos " quéchuas", o público descobrirá uma sensibilidade musical cujas raízes estão profundamente ligadas a uma visão cosmogônica do universo.

Raízes da Música Nordestina - MESTRE AMBRÓSIO (Helder Vasconcelos):

Tema: Cavalo Marinho.

Uma das variantes do bumba-meu-boi é uma brincadeira popular tradicional da zona da mata norte do estado de Pernambuco, que reúne música, dança, teatro e poesia. No roteiro básico desta brincadeira estão presentes diversas coreografias e personagens, contando histórias fantásticas e do cotidiano, conduzidas por melodias e toadas específicas, além de loas e improvisos.
Esta vivência visa o contato com o universo do Cavalo Marinho proporcionando ao participante um conhecimento geral do contexto da brincadeira, uma relação com o ritmo e o aprendizado de coreografias e passos empregados. Visa também a valorização e divulgação do Cavalo Marinho e dos seus mestres.
Desta forma, o participante será instigado a se envolver com uma forma particular de manifestar-se, trazendo à tona valores inerentes a sua própria formação pessoal, além de referências para busca de uma identidade brasileira.

Lila Downs:

Tema: A criação de um estilo próprio.

Nesta vivência com Lila, se falará da visão musical da cantora e a evolução do grupo. Os participantes descobrirão a influência de distintas formas musicais como a valsa, o jazz, a cumbia, a bossa nova e a música chilena, dentre outras, no processo de criação de um projeto musical. Finalmente, se discutirá sobre processos de criação e dinâmica grupal.

Daúde

The singer will discuss her musical trajectory. With her frank and direct manner, she will reveal the various aspects of building a career: the decisions, beginning influences, construction of image, first CD, partnerships, studio, marketing, selection of repertoire, relationship with media, and the artist's goal to make her music reach the largest audience. Daúde will also expose aspects of her show, which participants will be able to check out the following day.

Origin and history of SENGE music - Grupo Senge:

The group will be speaking about the island of Madagascar, the origin and history of its music, as well as the group's specific styles of BEKO and other musical styles of the island. They will also be demonstrating the instruments traditionally used by musicians such as the KABOSY (traditionally 4 or 5 lined guitars), and the MAROVANY (a type of harp built from a small wooden box with lined metals on each side). The whole discussion will be illustrated with music.

The trajectory of Quechua Music within the region of Potosi - Luzmila Carpio:

Theme: The importance of music and women's singing within Quechuas communities in the region of Potosi.

The musical art of the quechuas communities is codified according to the great ceremonies of the agricultural year. It is a medium of communication between communities and nature, thus creating a closer relationship between land, animals and the family. The workshops utilize different musical instruments relating to agricultural activities, in rituals, celebrations, harvests and as expressions of gratitude towareds the fertile divinity PACHAMAMA, Mother Earth. Through the voice of Luzmila and her musicians, the legends and traditions of the Potosi regions are mixed with "quechuas" songs. The audience will discover a musical sensibility with roots profoundly linked to a cosmological vision of the universe.

Roots of Nothern Music - MESTRE AMBRÓSIO (Helder Vasconcelos):

Theme: Cavalo Marinho (Sea horse).

One of the varieties of bumba-meu-boi is a popular game traditional in the forest region of the state of Pernambuco, which combines music, dance, theater, and poetry. The script contains fantastic stories of the day to day, conducted by melodies and specific tonalities, as well as improvisations. This experiential workshop seeks connection with the universe of the Cavalo Marinho through its music and dance, providing the participant with a general context of the popular game, a relationship with the rhythm and the choreographic steps. It also seeks to develop appreciation for and dissemination of the Cavalo Marinho and its masters. In this way, the participant will be instigated towards becoming involved with a particular cultural manifestation, bringing to surface its inherent values and deep references to Brazilian identity.

Lila Downs:

Theme: The creation of a unique style.

In this experience with Lila, the guest artist will discuss her musical vision and the evolution of the group. Participants will discover the influence of distinct musical languages such as valsa, jazz, cumbia, bossa nova and Chilean music, among others, in the creative musical process. Finally, group dynamics and the creative process will be discussed.
