Com a missão de expandir a cultura negra na sociedade, o bloco carnavalesco Ilê Aiyê segue uma trajetória de sucesso no cenário nacional e internacional. Neste III Mercado Cultural, o Ilê apresenta a Band' Aiye, grupo que é formado exclusivamente por artistas afro-descendentes. Sob o comando do maestro e arranjador musical Marivaldo Paim, os cantores Guiguio, Graça Onasilê, Reizinho, Altair, Adelson e Cristiano, acompanhados por nove percussionistas, levam a música afro-baiana para os grandes palcos do mundo.

Ilê Aiyê (Bahia)

With the mission of spreading the black culture, the carnival group Ilê Aiyê, umbilically linked to the Band' Aiyê, is formed exclusively by African-descendant artists, with important activism both nationally and internationally. With singers Guiguio, Graça Onasilê, Reizinho, Altair, Adelson and Cristiano, plus nine percussionists under the guidance of maestro Marivaldo Paim, the Band' Ayiê takes the African-Bahian music to major stages.
