Masters of Tradition
Traditional musical genres and rhythms that would by now be normally forgotten or abandoned, still hold on thanks to veteran and experienced musicians. They are the masters of tradition, who preserve knowledge absorbed from former generations and keep alive a rich and original music. Once again, the Cultural Market opens a special space to those masters.

One of the main spaces in Brazil for discussing public and private policies on culture, the Mercado Cultural is an initiative that creates new grounds for new talents, broadens cultural engagement, promotes artists’ work, and give visibility to culture, aside from offering opportunities for artistic and cultural interhange, as well as professional development.
